Do you know of any celebrity-contestant couple that is an actually a couple after the show ended?
They seem to do the show, get paid, and then go back to his girlfriends at the end of the day.
-The Rock of Love, Brett Michaels did 2 (3?) seasons of it, and each time he went home to his live-in girlfriend and mother of his kids.
-Flavor of Love, didn't he get engaged to his long-time girlfriend and mother of his kid on the renuion show?
-For the Love of RJ, he was complaining of his reality show that the first season winner had "false expectations: of being his girlfriend after winning the competition. Hello?/ isn;t that what the show was about?
Do you know of anyone that is actually together after appearing on these shows? Or they do not want the love, they just want the paycheck?
Suggestion:
I think the contestants actually think they are going to win the hearts of the celebrity that everyone is trying to get. But it is just a dating show. Even when they win the show, they will not end up in a relationship with the star. In some cases, the celebrity is in a real relationship with someone else. Take Flavor Flav, he already had a girlfriend that was pregnant when he was filming his dating show.
On the Ray J show, he wasn't looking to settle down either. This was just a payday for him. All in all, I think reality shows are just a way for celebrities to stay relevant and earn extra income. I think most of the contestants just want to be on T.V.
