I know I already asked this but I would like a little more advice. Thank you!
My parents never give us any ideas on what they want for christmas. My mom always says she doesn't know then never gets back to you with an answer, and my dad says he doesn't need anything else – he's fine with what he has. My brother and I came up with giving them a date night because they don't get much time to themselves usually because of work or they are spending time with us. Together my brother and I have about $60 to spend. We were thinking of making reservations at one of their favorite restaurants and giving them a gift card to pay for it, then direct them to a spot giving free horse carriage rides. We were also thinking of cleaning the house while they are out. However, the carriage rides are what's keeping us from making the final decision on what restaurant and what part of town. There are two spots giving rides, and they are on opposite sides of town. One of the rides is very close to a Red Lobster, their favorite restaurant, but the rides are only during the daytime and we think it would be more special at night. That ride is the closest to our house. The second option is make them go to either a different Red Lobster (quite a ways from our house but not a horribly far distance away) and have them drive a bit out of their way for the carriage ride which takes place at night instead of during the day. There is also an Olive Garden (which they also like a lot but not as much as Red Lobster) close to that carriage ride. The carriage rides hold about ten people and are first come first serve with no reservations. Which option would be best? Should we just not do the carriage rides? Anything else we can do to make it a more special date? Please give opinon on everything. Thanks :}
P.S – There aren't really any movies they want to see. And when there is they usually wait for it to come out and just rent it. :/
a carriage ride is only romantic if they are alone —- so unless you can ensure that i would not make it a priority —- what else is around —- are there any romantic walks somewhere they can get an ice cream (rather than dessert) and just walk and talk —- even during the day that can be very romantic —- best wishes
