Why Do people think celebrities dont date regular people?

I know this is a dumb thing to ask but soo many people think celebrities dont date regular people and thats just not true, why do people think that? A lot of celebrities date regular people. Any relationship can hard and especially when your a star and all when you travel and theirs that trust issue because people just may be into for your money but its nice to see that some people do really find love with regular people. I cant imagine being famous and all the stuff that goes on.

I think although there are some celebrities that do date regular people there are a number of reasons why they dont:

-they dont go out with regular people: for example if they go out to dinner or a club where you can meet a lot of people generally its people like them-exclusive Hollywood clubs/parties where regular people are not present

-they may find that they might not have anything in common with a person who has a 9-5 job and does what any regular person does, a celebrity would always need to be at special events and other glamorous things thus a regular person may not feel they fit in

-Regular people may feel jealousy on their partners behalf if they were to be always with their co-star and working really late hours with someone, they may feel threatened unlike someone who is famous who is dating a famous person they both have similar jobs and understand that they are going to be working closely with an attractive person

: My best answer would be that we often view celebrities as people who are out of our reach and either beautiful or extremely perfect. Therefore, we often have a hard time believing that they are real people just like everyone else and that they are only characters in our eyes. Also we often see that celebrities date other celebrities and in my opinion this occurs because they are surrounded by people in the same profession. It will occur that once in a while they date "Normal People".
: Usually celebrities don't date regular people , because usually some are stuck up and think they are better than regular people. But some do date regular people, like Kevin jonas, hes dating his neighbor. I think? That was old news . But Some times, like singers date eachother because they have something in common, or they just like their music and talent ! [;

: they are bombarded with publicity to the point they don't just go out to a park and meet someone or have a job at a normal workplace where regular people are so they stay in places where a high number of famous people are and meet those people they have to have body guards because the regular people tend to invade their privacy and don't exactly treat them like an ordinary person
