With the amount of singles on Facebook and Myspace these days, finding a girlfriend is fast becoming a reason to sign up. They are free, unlike online dating sites and there is an endless array of gorgeous girls to choose from. However, you do need to make sure that your profile is “optimized” before you message anybody with a hope of getting a meeting. Follow these tips for the best possible chance.
1. Check through your profile for any of those silly zombie applications, hugs, pokes or kisses. Do real men really do any of this? Do they have the time?
2. Erase all negative wall posts. Especially if you recently have threats from your friends because you jumped the taxi leaving them with the bill. To be good at myspace flirting you have to have only positive things on your profile.
3. This is an important one. If you have female friends…and hopefully you will have, then send them a nice complimentary message. With a bit of luck they will reply with something like “hey good to hear from you, maybe we should meet up for a coffee next week?” You need to collect as many of these on your wall as possible, it is called SOCIAL PROOF and it is extremely powerful stuff!
4. Close your profile to random access. If a girl you have just messaged can see your whole profile without adding you as a friend then it defeats the object. Your first goal should be for her to add you.
5. Make sure your profile image is a good one. Afterall, it is the first thing she is going to see. If you have a picture where you are with a nice looking girl, smiling at you then this is perfect. Otherwise one where you are next to somebody famous would be a good conversation starter. After that, any interesting hobby photos to make you look unique.
6. Inside your profile you should have no more than 20 photos. You do not want to look like you spend your entire life online. Make sure your photos are a cool selection of what was listed above, maybe with 1 with a cute animal and 1 where your face is shown.
7. Now you are ready to message some hot girls and really get down to myspace flirting. Find a few you like, copy and paste the same message to them all. One of my favourite openers is “hey I thought it was you, I had to leave early the other night…if you want your belt back, you know where to find it!” This will create huge intrigue with her and you are almost guaranteed a response at the very least.
