Finding love, or even a compatible date, can be a challenge for many singles. They look great in their photo, their profile is quirky, or your colleague assures you that this one is perfect. The catch? You may have to spend a few more minutes answering questions about your aspirations, education, background, and your life experiences. These little clues about the real you then allow the programs to figure out who your perfect match may well be.
While some of these issues can be negotiated and compromised, often one party ends up resenting the compromises that were made. If you don’t plan on breeding, why keep dating a parade of people who just can’t wait to start on the next generation?
Another point to consider before signing up with any online dating site is to check out their memberships, and how well established they are. No good signing up to find the closest single is a plane trip away.
