The other day a girl and I were talking about books. So I let her borrow one and she told me to read this book by nicolas sparks. When a mutual friend saw me reading it he was like come on man that a girls book. Also I like romantic movies almost as much as dramas which are my favorite. I don't shy away from so called girly things like cuddling and romance like most guys and am always getting flack for it.

i dont think that it is a weakness i respect and like guys that are sensitive. i like "soft" guys cause they treat girls like people and not like their little toys. so whoever said that tell them to stop because now you know at least one girl respects you for your softer side.

I didn't know it was, but I suppose there are two or more views of everything. If you want to avoid the remarks, just remember not to show everyone everything. I read all sorts of books and no one has ever given me flack for it, and I go to any movie that interests me, but no one has ever made any kind of statement in mu hearing that it was gender oriented if one liked it.
Because, for a female, she has already embraced (naturally or obviously) her softer side. So she will be looking for someone who is strong… someone who will be able to take care of her… someone who will be tender with her… someone who will be there for her… someone to share her life with. Someone who will also be sensitive… yet STRONG! It's human nature son. As males, we all recognize this intillectually, but in practice, it doesn't always quite work this way. The same goes for women… they don't always respond the same because, like any creature that thinks, they will be attracted to different traits whether they realize what those traits are or not. Don't worry about what others think. Be yourself. If you're into "girly things" then go for it! There are women out there who will DIE for a chance to be with you. Who cares about what other guys think? They're just jealous because they don't have that trait themselves.
