The first step to winning back an ex girlfriend does not involve weeping into your pillow or calling her in the middle of the night just to hear her voice. You must figure out why she left.
Most often, men simply pursue their former girlfriends without ever understanding what made them leave in the first place. They feel that they can get their girlfriends back by importuning them to return. You cannot hope to get your girlfriend back if you have no understanding of why she broke her relationship with you.

You should begin by being a good friend to her and gradually gain her trust by your transparent sincerity.
Obviously, each relationship is unique, and would need specific ways of dealing with the difficulties experienced. The first thing to do is to find what made it fall apart. You can always find indications of how your girlfriend felt, if you look back on your relationship. Perhaps you did not notice these or thought that they did not matter.
It is now time to pay attention to her indications and figure out what she wanted, what you failed to provide, and what you can do to eliminate her concerns and entice her to return.
