Did your boyfriend recently break up with you? Would you like to get him back? This is perfectly understandable. Separations are hard to deal with on an emotional level. Specially if you were on the receiving end of the bad news. All kinds of feelings start racing through the head and no amount of logic can change the way a person feels after a bad heart break.
Logic does not apply here!
First question that comes to mind is “Why did you do it?”, but chances of getting an honest answer are slim. This is all but normal, because straight answers are usually backed up by logic. Feelings on the other hand don’t work this way. That’s why people use phrases like “we just clicked”, “I felt the chemistry”, “it’s just something he has”. Feelings and logic are almost incompatible. But everything can be dealt with if you have the right method and approach. Love is not an exception to this rule! For example you can do some silly things and cause a breakup. But if something can be affected in a bad way, it means that it can also be affected in a good way.
It’s all in the statistics. For instance it’s a well known fact that it’s harder to find a new girlfriend than it is to make up with the old one. This is simply because a boyfriend knows his old girlfriend better and already trusts her up to a certain point.
Books on the subject
It reminds me of a book that was written by an author who specializes in relationship problems. The author examined several hundred love relationships and noticed that there is a certain pattern that makes people go back together.
