Matchmaker Tips for Women- When the Bill Arrives

Ladies, not only does he want to pay, but it’s weird for you to make an attempt to split the bill.  He has offered to take you out to dinner, so let him. Just thank him for treating you to dinner.

What about if you have no further intentions of seeing him again or even of hooking up with him tonight.  The man still pays and don’t think because he did pay, you own him anything.

Okay, you suggested a restaurant and it turned out to be more expensive than you thought.  Don’t worry, he asked you for your recommendations and he is prepared to go anywhere.

You don’t have to pay just because you might earn more money than he does.  If you were to offer to pay, it would make him feel the differences in salaries between you two might be a problem. He wouldn’t have offered to take you out if he could not afford to do so.

Murphy’s Law. The bill arrives when he goes to the men’s room.  Ha ha, most men have good timing and won’t go during the window when the bill might arrive.  If he does, just put the bill in the middle of the table and wait for him to return.

If you really feel you must make a contribution when the bill arrives and can’t, then pick up a smaller expense that night such as a cab ride or if you go have desert at another location.  You take him out.

If you are so compelled that you have to pay for dinner when the bill arrives, instead of splitting it, you just take him out next time. Keep it simple.
