Time to Forget About Exs and Think About You

If your Ex has said that the love has died and terminated your relationship – you may well feel remorse and hurt at dashed promises or romantic ambitions. Visions of what you planned to do with each other may still be on automatic play-back loop in your mind’s eye; or you may be recalling conversations you previously had questioning: “Where did it all go wrong?” Or: “How could I have made it right?”

Along with the memories might well come thoughts of ‘making yourself better’ or ‘up-ing your game’ in order to re-ignite love. This may well be a natural strategy after the departure of an Ex, but, there will come a time when you will have to pull yourself together and come to the conclusion that no amount of analyzing is going to bring your Ex back; and no amount of wishful thinking will recover what you feel you have lost.

If you really feel that you have reached the end of the line then in order to gain more clarity and push yourself out of your comfort zone you will need to ask yourself this question: “Should I really put energy into trying to get someone back (who evidently doesn’t want to be with me) or galvanize my energy to forget about Exs and into moving on with my life?”

The choice is a simple one with two possible outcomes: moving forward or remaining stuck. Contrary to popular beliefs (which in my opinion place far too much emphasis on the power of our emotions in these matters) it is indeed possible to put our minds to the task to forget about Exs as soon as we deem ourselves ready and willing. The mind actually has the ability to forget about Exs as soon as you give it the instructions to do so. Learn more about how to forget about Exs here.

3. What will I gain if I forget about Exs and move on?
4. What will I have to do to come to terms that it is over?
5. What do I want to do with the next chapter of my life?
